PPSC Photo & CNIC Resizer — 25 KB, White Background

PPSC's online application is strict about the photo and the CNIC image, and the two instruction documents quote different limits. This tool prepares both files: a portrait photo on a white background and the front of your CNIC, each as a JPG under 25 KB (or 60 KB if you choose). Add your file, adjust the framing, and download.

PPSC photo and CNIC specification

Item	Size	File size	Format	Note
Photo	At least 4.5 cm high × 3.5 cm wide	Under 25 KB (60 KB in the guidelines)	JPG	Colour, white background, full head and shoulders, no cap or glasses.
CNIC (front)	At least 54 mm high	Under 25 KB (60 KB in the guidelines)	JPG	Front side only, properly scanned, clear and legible.

PPSC's photograph guidelines give a 60 KB file limit and its online application procedure says the image must be under 25 KB. We could not confirm which is applied on a given form, so the tool defaults to 25 KB and also offers 60 KB. Each commission can change its instructions per advertisement, so always check the latest notice before you upload.

Tips for a PPSC photo that is accepted

Face the camera with a neutral expression, head upright, full head and shoulders in the frame.
No caps, no glasses and nothing covering the face, as the PPSC photograph guidelines require.
Start from an uncropped portrait. PPSC does not accept a photo cropped out of a larger picture.
Use the zoom and move sliders to keep your face centred, then let the tool fit the file under the limit.
Photograph the CNIC flat in good light, front side only, so the text is readable after compression.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the PPSC photo size?

The photograph guidelines ask for a colour photo of at least 4.5 cm high by 3.5 cm wide on a white background, saved as a JPG. They do not list a pixel size.

Is the PPSC limit 25 KB or 60 KB?

Both numbers appear: the photograph guidelines say 60 KB and the online application procedure says under 25 KB. Under 25 KB satisfies both, so the tool starts there.

What size does the CNIC image need?

The guidelines ask for the front side only, as a clear, legible scan at least 54 mm high. The tool crops to the card's proportions and fits it under your chosen limit.

Must the background be white?

Yes. The PPSC photograph guidelines ask for a colour photo on a white background. Use the background option, then check the edges around your hair.

Can I use a selfie?

The guidelines ask for a formal head-and-shoulders photo, so a studio or plain-wall portrait is safer than a selfie.
