PRC ID Picture Maker (White Background + Name Tag)

The PRC online application wants a plain white background ID picture of you in decent attire, taken within six months. The 300 × 300 px and 2 MB limits are from PRC's 2018 step-by-step licensure application guide, and the 2×2, white background, 6-month and attire rules from its online services FAQ. PRC's own FAQs ask for a full name tag on printed pictures; whether the upload form needs one is not stated, so the strip here is optional. Check the latest PRC notice before you apply.

Tips for a PRC ID picture that is not rejected

Use a plain white background with no shadow. Background that is not plain white is a common reason an application is not processed.
Wear decent attire with a collar, and no eyeglasses, filters or shadows on the face.
Do not use a selfie. Use a studio or well-lit portrait taken within the last six months.
If you add a name tag, leave some room under your chin when you position the face. The strip takes the bottom of the picture.
Type your name as it appears on your records: given name, middle initial and last name.

What is the PRC ID picture size?

2×2, per PRC's online services FAQ, on a plain white background. For the online upload, PRC's application guide says the photo must not be more than 300 × 300 pixels.

What file format and size does PRC accept?

PRC's 2018 step-by-step guide says JPG or PNG, a maximum of 2 MB. A 300 × 300 pixel JPG is far below that.

Is a name tag required on the PRC picture?
