FPSC Photo Resizer — Under 30 KB, JPEG
The FPSC online application asks you to upload a recent passport-size picture in JPG or JPEG format under 30 KB, after you pay the fee. This tool crops your photo to a passport-style portrait and compresses it to fit, so the upload goes through the first time. Nothing leaves your device.

FPSC photo specification
| Item | Size | File size | Format | Note |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Picture | Recent passport-size; no pixel size stated | Under 30 KB (tool targets 29 KB) | JPG / JPEG | Avoid informal pictures. Uploaded after fee payment. |
FPSC's current guidelines also say to re-type your CNIC number for confirmation and list no signature or CNIC upload. Older FPSC guides (2016) used the same 30 KB limit. Each commission can change its instructions per advertisement, so always check the latest notice before you upload.

Tips for an FPSC picture that uploads first time
- Use a recent, formal picture. FPSC's guidelines say to avoid informal pictures.
- Face the camera, head upright, with your whole face and the top of your shoulders in the frame.
- Plain light background and even light, with no shadows across the face, compress better and look cleaner.
- Keep the original large. The tool lowers the size for you, so there is no need to shrink it first.
- Upload only after the fee is paid: the picture step opens once the PSID payment is recorded.
