Pakistan Exam Photo Resizer — PPSC & FPSC Photo Size
Public service commissions in Pakistan set their own upload rules, and a photo that is a few KB too large is rejected. Pick your portal below, add a photo, and download a JPG that fits. The tool crops to a passport-style portrait, can replace the background with white, and lowers the file size to the limit. Everything runs in your browser.

Photo rules by portal
| Item | Size | File size | Format | Note |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| PPSC photo | At least 4.5 cm high × 3.5 cm wide | Under 25 KB (guidelines also say 60 KB) | JPG | Colour, white background, head and shoulders. |
| PPSC CNIC (front) | At least 54 mm high | Under 25 KB (guidelines also say 60 KB) | JPG | Clear, legible scan of the front side. |
| FPSC photo | Passport-size; no pixel size stated | Under 30 KB | JPG / JPEG | Recent, formal picture. No signature or CNIC upload in the guidelines. |
These are the sizes on the commissions' own instruction documents. NTS, SPSC, KPPSC and BPSC are not listed because we could not find a photo specification on an official page (KPPSC's application asks for attested paper photographs). Each commission can change its instructions per advertisement, so always check the latest notice before you upload.

Tips for a Pakistan job application photo
- Use a recent colour photo, facing the camera, with your full head and shoulders visible. Caps, glasses and covered faces are not accepted by PPSC.
- Shoot against a plain light wall in even light. The background tool can turn it white for PPSC, but a clean original gives clean edges.
- Do not crop a small piece out of a big group photo. PPSC says a cropped photo is not accepted, so start from a proper portrait.
- For the CNIC, lay the card flat, photograph or scan the front only, and keep every word readable before shrinking it.
- When two documents give different limits, upload under the smaller one. The tool offers both PPSC limits and starts at 25 KB.
