Text Repeater

Repeat a word, sentence or several lines as many times as you need, with a new line, space, comma or your own separator between the copies. Your text is processed locally in your browser and is not uploaded to Q3 Labs.

  • Free
  • · No signup
  • · Nothing uploaded
  • · Unicode and emoji

Private by design. Your text is processed locally in your browser and is not uploaded to Q3 Labs.

0 characters

Your text is repeated exactly as typed: spaces, line breaks, punctuation and emoji are kept.

A whole number from 1 to 1,000.

Separator between repetitions

Short results update as you type. Results over 200,000 characters are built when you press Repeat Text (or Ctrl + Enter), up to 1,000,000 characters.

Free text repeater online

This text repeater copies your text a set number of times and joins the copies with the separator you choose. It keeps your text exactly as typed: nothing is trimmed, corrected or reformatted, so spaces, punctuation, capital letters, line breaks and emoji come out the same in every copy.

The result shows how many characters it contains and how large it is as a UTF-8 text file, and you can copy it or download it as a .txt file. Everything happens in your browser.

How to repeat text

  1. Enter your text. A word, a sentence or several lines.
  2. Set the repeat count, a whole number from 1 to 1,000.
  3. Choose a separator: new line, space, comma, comma + space, none, or your own.
  4. Check the result. Short results appear as you type; for large ones, press Repeat Text.
  5. Copy or download the repeated text.

How many times can I repeat text?

Up to 1,000 times. The repeat count must be a whole number: 0, negative numbers, decimals and anything that isn't a number are rejected with a message explaining why, rather than being quietly rounded or changed.

There is also a limit on the size of the result, explained below, so very long text reaches its limit before 1,000 repetitions.

Text repeater examples

Each result is produced by the same code the tool uses.

Using different separators

The separator goes between copies, never after the last one, so repeating text N times always gives N copies and N−1 separators. New line puts each copy on its own line; Space and Comma + space make a single line; Comma suits simple comma-separated lists; No separator joins the copies directly.

A custom separator can be any text up to 100 characters, such as | , ; or - . It is used exactly as typed, including spaces, and is always treated as plain text. Typing \n inserts a backslash and the letter n, not a line break; choose New line for that.

Repeating multiline text

Line breaks inside your text are kept. With the New line separator, repeating these two lines twice:

Hello
World

gives:

Hello
World
Hello
World

If your text ends with a line break, that break is part of every copy, so a New line separator after it leaves an empty line between copies.

Repeating text with spaces and punctuation

The tool is a repeater, not a text cleaner. It doesn't trim spaces at the start or end, collapse double spaces, change line endings or fix punctuation. Repeating " Hello World " twice with a | separator gives " Hello World | Hello World ", spaces included. Tidy up your text before repeating it if you need to.

How large can the generated text be?

Up to 1,000,000 characters, from input of up to 100,000 characters. The size is worked out before the result is built. If a request would go over the limit, nothing is generated and the tool explains why, so you can lower the repeat count or shorten the text. It never shows a cut-off result as if it were complete.

The limit is counted in JavaScript string units: one for most characters, two for emoji and some rarer symbols. That keeps even the largest result quick to display, copy and download on a phone.

Common uses for a text repeater

  • Testing forms and layouts. Generate long input to see how a text field, card or table handles length limits and wrapping.
  • Placeholder content. Fill a design mock-up with repeated text of a realistic length.
  • Lists and data. Build a repeated line or comma-separated list to paste into a spreadsheet or file.
  • Practice and drills. Write out a word or phrase several times for handwriting or typing practice sheets.

Repeating words on a web page doesn't help it rank in search; keyword repetition is treated as spam. Use repeated text for testing and drafts, not for published content.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is a text repeater?

A tool that copies a piece of text a chosen number of times and joins the copies into one block. You type the text, pick how many times to repeat it and what goes between the copies, and get the result to copy or download.

How do I repeat text multiple times?

Type or paste your text into the box, enter a repeat count, choose a separator such as New line or Comma + space, and the result appears below. For large results press Repeat Text. Then use Copy Output or Download Text.

Can I repeat a sentence?

Yes. Any text works, from a single word to a full sentence or paragraph. Punctuation, capital letters and spaces are kept exactly as typed.

Can I repeat multiple lines?

Yes. Line breaks inside your text are kept, and the separator is only added between whole copies. With the New line separator, two lines repeated twice give four lines.

Can I choose a separator?

Yes. Choose New line, Space, Comma, Comma + space or No separator, or pick Custom and type your own, up to 100 characters. A custom separator is used exactly as typed, including spaces.

Can I repeat text without a separator?

Yes. Choose No separator and the copies are joined directly, so Hello repeated three times becomes HelloHelloHello.

How many times can I repeat text?

From 1 to 1,000 times, as long as the result stays within 1,000,000 characters. Short text can be repeated the full 1,000 times; long text reaches the size limit sooner.

Can I copy the generated text?

Yes. Press Copy Output to copy the whole result to your clipboard. If your browser blocks clipboard access, the tool tells you, and you can select the text or download it instead.

Can I download repeated text?

Yes. Download Text saves the result as repeated-text.txt, a UTF-8 text file. The file is created in your browser; nothing is sent to a server.

Can I repeat Unicode or emoji?

Yes. Hindi, Urdu, Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, accented letters and emoji are all repeated unchanged. The character count treats an emoji such as 🚀 as one character.

Is this text repeater free?

Yes. It is free and needs no account.

Is my text uploaded?

No. Your text is processed locally in your browser and is not uploaded to Q3 Labs.

Why is there a maximum repeat count?

Very large results can make a browser tab slow or unresponsive, especially on phones. Capping the count at 1,000 and the result at 1,000,000 characters keeps the page responsive. The size is checked before anything is built, and an oversized request is refused with an explanation rather than cut short.

Can I use this for testing text fields?

Yes. Repeating a phrase is a quick way to produce long input for checking how forms, text fields and layouts handle length limits, wrapping and overflow. The character count and UTF-8 size help you check against a field's limit.

Does the tool change my original text?

No. The text is not trimmed, corrected or reformatted. Each copy in the result is identical to what you typed.
