Tips for a photo and signature that upload first time
- Photo: face the camera straight on, head upright, face fully visible and not covered by hair, a cap or glasses glare.
- Photo: use even light from the front or from a window, with a plain light background and no shadows on the face.
- Signature: sign on plain white paper with a black or blue pen, and keep the strokes dark and clear.
- Signature: photograph or scan it flat and straight, then crop close so the wide 300×80 frame is mostly signature.
- Start from the largest original you have. The tool lowers the file size for you, so there is no need to shrink the image first.

My file is still too big. What can I do?
The tool keeps the exact pixel size and lowers JPEG quality until the file fits. If your source photo cannot reach the limit, it tells you it is the closest possible size; try a different, less detailed original.
Is my photo uploaded anywhere?
No. Cropping, resizing and compression all happen in your browser, and the file never leaves your device.
